Commiserations to the boys hurling team who put up a valiant second half effort in Tuesday’s District Final against Cushinstown/Rathgarogue in Taghmon. They lost by 3 points in the end following a brave effort. This brings Mr Cadogan’s hurling season for this year to a close but with many young players on the current squad next year looks very promising.

Congratulations to Mr Cadogan’s Rackard League Hurling team who beat Bree in the County Final In Taghmon on Monday evening. This was a first hurling win since 1998 and the boys completed the double for the first time ever having defeated the same opposition in the football final last November. The boys had a comfortable win over Ballycullane/St Leonards with a score of 3-5 to 0-5. The girls had a tighter struggle in the second half of their game finally winning 3-2 to 3-0 against Ramsgrange. Well done to all on the teams and especially to trainers Mr Cadogan and Ms O’ Connor .
