Both camogie and hurling school teams went to St Patricks Park , Enniscorthy on Monday with high hopes of success following on from the girls football win last week. Alas, both teams were runners-up on the night to strong opposition from Oulart in the camogie final and Ballymurn in the hurling. Congratulations to the camogie team on their great victory over Kilmore 1-9 to 1-1 in the County Final in Wexford Park on Thurs. Congratulations to Ms O’Connor’s Rackard League camogie team who had an emphatic win over Ramsgrange this afternoon in Grantstown to win the District Final. The boys did not fare as well against Ferns but put in a great performance in Taghmon earlier . The boys travelled to Enniscorthy for their first game against St. Senans and after a close contest, a draw 3-4 each, was a fair result. They beat Oylegate to qualify for the county quarter final v Ferns in Taghmon on Mon. 26th at 3.30. INTO Mini Sevens

The Mini Sevens football, hurling and camogie teams are currently in action. The boys football team beat Ballymitty and Shielbaggan to  qualify for the second round. The girls also are through having beaten Poulfur and Ramsgrange/shielbaggan. The hurling team beat Poulfur but lost narrowly to Ramsgrange in a  thrilling game. Hurling 365

Scoil Mhuire and Horeswood GAA club have been running Hurling 365 every week since Sept. 110 boys and girls from Senior Infants to 6th class are involved. Every Monday, Wednesday and Thursday coaching takes place in the Indoor Centre. Ms  O’Connor and Mr. Cadogan are assisted by 30 parents and club coaches on a rota basis. It will resume on Mon.
