Incredible Edibles
2nd Class are taking part in Agri Awares Incredible Edibles Project. On Fri April 12th the children sowed carrots, turnip and lettuce seeds in pots as well as planting the school vegetable garden with potatoes, carrots, beetroot, onion sets, spring onions, cabbage and lettuce.

Mrs. Kavanagh raised the school’s third Green Flag for Water in wet conditions on Thurs June 14th.Despite the “typical” summer downpours pupils enjoyed a great afternoon of activities to celebrate the achievement of gaining a third Green Flag. Scoil Mhuire was presented with its third Green Flag on Mon 21st May at a special event held in Croke Park. Ms. Rossiter, Mrs Kavanagh (Green School coordinator) and committee members Ciara Molloy and Ben Somers attended the event along with 39 other schools receiving their flags. The flag will be raised in Scoil Mhuire on Thursday June 14th at 1pm.
