Goal Jersey Day 2017

Pupils in Sixth Class organised the annual Goal Jersey Day in Scoil Mhuire on Friday, October 13th. The class designed their own posters and displayed them around the school. A total of 600 euro was raised on the day. Well done to all involved.

Soup in Scoil Mhuire

Having spent lots of time growing and looking after vegetables for the last year, pupils in Scoil Mhuire made soup last week using their organic vegetables grown in school. It was really delicious. Thanks to Joan our SNA, Mrs. Rogers and Ms. Warner….and of course all the other helpers who worked so hard to make such lovely soup!

Kennedy Park Trip

Four classes from Scoil Mhuire took a trip down the road from our school to visit Kennedy Park last week. Children learned lots about trees, plants and animals that live in the park. Everybody had a great day and really enjoyed the trip. Many thanks to the OPW staff in the Park for looking after us both days.
